Katyayani (The daughter of sage Kātyāyana, who incarnated to help the Devas)

Goddess Parvathi took the form of Goddess Katyayani to destroy the demon Mahishasura. She is believed to be called a warrior goddess because she is the most violent form of Goddess Parvati. She manages the Planet Brihaspati. She was called Katyayani because she was raised by Sage Katya. This avatar manifested good over evil.
