Snake Plant

The extraordinary efficiency with which snake plants, also known as “mother-in-tongue” laws, produce oxygen has earned them the name. It was one of the most well-liked indoor plants before it was discovered to produce oxygen; it could be found in both residences and workplaces.

This plant purifies the air in accordance with NASA-funded clean air studies, by absorbing formaldehyde, nitrogen oxide, xylene, benzene, and trichloroethylene. This particular plant is unusual in that it shouldn’t be kept in a bedroom because it breathes at night and photosynthesizes during the day. This is because the plant breathes at night and absorbs oxygen.

A species of flowering plant belonging to the Asparagaceae family called Dracaena trifasciata is indigenous to tropical West Africa, stretching from Nigeria eastward to the Congo. The snake plant is one of its most well-known names, along with Saint George’s sword, mother-in-law’s tongue, and viper’s bowstring hemp.
