In Hinduism, every deity has made an impact on the minds of people. Every deity has a reason to be worshipped. Today, we’re talking about Lord Rama, the epitome of truth and mortality, the ideal son of King Dasaratha, the ideal husband of Sitaji, and, most importantly, the ideal King of Ayodhya. Lord Ram’s qualities and greatness are extolled in the Ramayana, Mahabharatha, and Bhagavad Purana. Shree Rama is one of Lord Vishnu’s avatars. He is from the Treta yuga. Incarnations will occur for the purpose of the descended to earth. King Dasaratha’s seventh avatar was born to King Rama, who believed that Lord Vishnu took the avatar Rama to destroy evil forces and maintain dharma on the earth.

Rama is also known as Purushotarama, which means the ideal and supreme identity. Purpose of incarnation. Ravan, the king of Lanka, received a boon from Brahma that made him unconquerable by Gods and demons. The sages’ lives are disrupted and miserable, and they want to put an end to the reign of the demon king Ravana. So Vishnu became a man and came to Earth, believing that only a human could defeat the Demon King Ravana.

Sage Narada describes Lord Rama’s physical characteristics in detail in Valmiki’s Bala Kanda Ramayana.

  • He has wide shoulders and powerful arms.
  • His neck is likened to a conch shell, and his cheekbones are prominent.
  • His thorax is wide, and his bow is massive.
  • He has a lovely brow and a great head.
  • His foot steps are incredible.
  • His eyes are big and round.
  • He is prosperous and endowed with all auspicious characteristics.

Rama Meditation Mantra:

 आपदामपहर्तारम् दाताराम् सर्वसम्पदाम्।

लोकाभिरामम् श्रीरामम् भूयो-भूयो नमाम्यहम्॥

Rama Chandra is a Maryada Purushothama Rama, which means the ideal man. He has taken birth on the earth to eradicate the evil forces of the age. He is a tribal hero of ancient India.

As a person, he possesses traits everyone should learn from him

  •  He never told untruth.
  • He is an ideal son and a husband.
  •  He respects and obeys his parents and keeps the relationship alive.
  • He gave everything to others without any expectations.
  • He never focused on his greatness.
  • He is not a womaniser. 
  • He never thought of any woman other than the sita.
  • He never wasted money, he spent it in a useful way for everyone.
  • He is fully aware of the truth and his spiritual practices.
  • He can lead any team in a crisis. 
  • He possesses good leadership qualities.
  • He was a kind soul. not only for humans, but also for all other living things on the planet
  • His physical appearance was attractive, and he spoke softly.

One who wishes to attain Moksha grants him an easy death. Whoever surrenders at his feet is saved, regardless of how much harm that person has caused him. Like Ma Dharani, he is patient.
